Join us for a one-day statewide session focused on the role of the SDMAC in supporting medical surge response during high-consequence public health emergencies.
This workshop will bring together healthcare, public health, and emergency preparedness experts for presentations and facilitated discussions centered on Arizona’s Crisis Standards of Care and Scarce Resource Allocation Plan. Attendees will discuss approaches to scarce resource allocation and identify opportunities to strengthen Arizona’s coordinated response.
Participants will engage in key topics of the state’s preparedness landscape, including hospital readiness, long-term care considerations, supply chain constraints, and real-world experiences with resource allocation during a public health emergency.
This session will also incorporate structured feedback and reflection to inform ongoing planning efforts, including summary reporting and future improvements to statewide preparedness strategies.
