Trauma Award Nomination Categories:
Trauma Program Manager of the Year (Level I, III, and IV) - Presented to a Trauma Program Manager from a Level I Trauma Center who routinely goes above and beyond to demonstrate leadership and dedication to improving the Arizona Trauma System.
Trauma Medical Director of the Year (All Levels) - Presented to a Medical Director from any Arizona Trauma Center who exhibits dedication, leadership, and outstanding contribution to the Arizona trauma community.
Trauma Registrar of the Year (All Levels) - Presented to a Trauma Registrar from any Arizona Trauma Center who exhibits dedication and excellence in their role.
Injury Prevention Achievement Award (All Levels) - Presented to a representative from any Arizona Trauma Center who exhibits dedication to going above and beyond to prevent injuries in their community and/or whose special efforts and contributions in the field of injury prevention have resulted in a significant impact and led to improved public health.
Research/Academic Achievement Award - Presented to a representative from any Arizona trauma center who exhibits dedication to improving the Arizona Trauma System through research/academic achievement and/or for significant contributions to the field of trauma research.
Pediatric Champion Award - Presented to a representative from any Arizona Trauma Center who exhibits dedication to improving pediatric patient outcomes by serving as a champion of pediatric readiness in a formal or informal capacity
Nominations will be reviewed by a panel of Arizona Trauma System stakeholders with the goal of eight (8) total Trauma Awards. Up to eight (8) Trauma Awards will be presented at the STAB Meeting on May 16, 2024.
